Interactive Tradeshow Booths Can Contribute To Effective Exhibits

An interactive display can go a long way in attracting people to your booth. Today, many businesses are starting to realize the potential of interactive booths in attracting new customers. According to The Center for Exhibition Industry Research, 18 percent of marketing dollars are invested on trade shows and exhibits. One cannot doubt the power of interactive booths in pulling potential customers to your booth. Here are some interactive ideas that you can integrate to your booth in your upcoming event:[3]

To attract more visitors to your booth, you can hold games with the visitors. You can give away prizes to those who can correctly answer trivia questions related to your products and services. You can be creative and make a prize wheel which a visitor can spin to determine their prize. As a consolation prize, you can hand out smaller give away items with your contact numbers to visitors who do not give the right answer.[1]

Another way you can make your booth interactive is through hands-on demonstrations. This way the visitors will have a better view of the features and benefits of your products if they will be able to use it on the spot. You can make them smell, feel, or taste the product. It is important to have as many samples as possible. Have sales people on hand in case visitors order after the demonstration is finished.[1]

Make Use of Technology
You can also utilize the power of technology in your booth. You can bring in computers, laptops, or large monitors to display company information. You can loop a PowerPoint presentation on one of the computers so that it will keep on running throughout the day. You can add a lot of graphics and less wordings to convey your message. You can use an iPad to further demonstrate how your product will work.

Another innovative technology that you can use in your trade show booth is the walk-on floor. This lights up or display images as visitors walk over them. You can imitate the yellow brick road to lead them to their destination.[2]

Story Telling
Another innovative method of an interactive booth is by using personal stories. You can divide the story in parts and tie it up to certain sections in your display. You can use some creativity in coming up with the story.[2]

There are countless other ways to make your booth interactive with the visitors. They can appeal to the senses of the visitor and hence can enhance your message and help visitors retain the information for a long period of time.
